Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Clipped (“Clipped”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and shares information when you use our website, applications and services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. Such as your name, email address, account details, the channels you add, and the content you create, edit or upload, as well as anything you send us when you contact support.

Information from connected platforms. When you connect an account such as Twitch, YouTube, TikTok or Kick, we receive the information that platform shares with your permission, for example your account ID, display name, profile image, channel details and access tokens that let us read stream data and publish on your behalf.

Stream data. To analyze a live stream or VOD, we process publicly available video, audio, transcripts and chat messages from the channels you choose to watch.

Usage and device information. Such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and actions taken in the Service, collected through logs and similar technologies.

2. How we use information

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

4. Google and YouTube data

If you connect a YouTube account, Clipped uses YouTube API Services. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's processing is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke Clipped's access at any time via your Google security settings.

5. Data retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterwards only as long as necessary for legal, security or legitimate business purposes. When you disconnect a platform, we delete the access tokens we hold for it. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email hello@clipped.so. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the Service, and may use them to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.

9. International transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by posting the updated Policy on this page and updating the date above.
